Illusionary Love Showcase

About the showcase

Illusionary Love was initiated to create space.

A space for artists and musicians who are often overlooked.
A space where disciplines come together.
A space where expression is not limited by background, education or experience.

The project explores how art and music can create connection through shared experience.

The first edition was built around the theme of love — not as something fixed, but as something fluid, layered and sometimes illusory.

The Event

The first edition took place on October 24, 2024 at De Kroepoekfabriek in Vlaardingen.

The evening combined live performances and visual art in one continuous experience.

  • Live music acts

  • Visual artworks and installations

  • A curated program with a clear build-up

  • A shared closing moment through an afterparty

Artists were challenged to create new work based on the theme, stimulating originality and experimentation.

Results

The event reached and engaged a growing audience:

  • ± 80–100 visitors attended the event

  • 69 tickets were claimed through Eventbrite

  • 4,000+ accounts reached through social media

  • 17,000–19,000 total views across campaign period

All core objectives were achieved:

  • Providing a platform for emerging artists

  • Creating a strong thematic experience

  • Building an inclusive and open environment

  • Stimulating interaction and networking

This project is part of a larger path.

A way to explore what is possible by creating, organizing and building with others.
A way to develop skills, gain experience and understand how far ideas can be pushed into reality.

Through projects like this, new opportunities, collaborations and initiatives emerge.

This is not only about events.
It is about building towards future projects with real impact.
